NSA Surveillance is one of the many divisive issues of American politics.
Description[edit | edit source]
Following the September 11th Attacks, the National Security Agency began to conduct surveillance on communications within the United States to detect terrorist activity. Large amounts of personal data on normal, law-abiding citizens has been captured during these efforts, and the government's use and retention of this data has become a potential election issue.
