Secure the Borders is one of the many divisive issues of American politics.

Description[edit | edit source]

People from Mexico and Central America have long been able to enter into the United States with minimal obstruction. Some believe they are a burden and security risk to this country, and want more money to be spent securing the border, either via policing or fixed structures. Opponents view these immigrants sympathetically, believe they provide a net-benefit to the country, and wish for legal immigration be made more widely available.
