The War on Terror is one of the many divisive issues of American politics.

Description[edit | edit source]

The attacks on September 11th, 2001, illustrated the potential damage that international terrorists are capable of dealing. Combating such attacks can require military action and significant intrusions into the privacy of American citizens. Some support these measures, feeling that the benefit of preventing another terror attack is worth such cost. Others disagree.
