Custom candidates can be created in addition to any of the existing candidates. Affiliated with either of the two parties, you can:
- Customize the name and surname.
- Customize the figurine.
- Select home state.
- Select characteristics. Each starts with a default level of 5, with a pool of ten points to divide. Characteristics can be lowered as needed, with one catch: Campaign skills, like stamina, fundraising, and starting money, are twice as expensive to increase and yield twice the amount of points when lowered.
- Select issues. It's possible to create an impossibly liberal Republican supportive of gay marriage and abortion rights, or a Democratic religious zealot. Sky's the limit.
